ABOUT THE PRODUCT
Bronze-Filled PTFE Rod and Piston Seals
Bronze-filled PTFE rod and piston seals are machined to the required dimensions and application profile to provide sealing between moving surfaces in hydraulic systems. In suitable designs, they operate together with an elastomer O-ring.
The bronze filler contributes to wear resistance, heat transfer and dimensional stability under load while retaining PTFE’s low-friction characteristics. Pressure, speed, counter surface and fluid conditions are considered together when selecting the profile and material.
